Launch party July 3 2010: Café Medina, Amsterdam
repost & re-edit: 02-07-10: Over 70 people signed up already and approx. 30 people are maybes. We will be able to serve Korean tacos for a max. of 100 people. So only 1 day left to sign-up. It’s not a hype! It’s for real! Find it out yourself!

The location of our launch party is Café Medina (Amsterdam-Oost). Café Medina has been well-known for the tv show “S1ngle” (with Katja Schuurman, Bracha van Doesburg, Eva van der Gucht). This time we count on great Summer weather (!). In front of the café is a terrace where you can enjoy outside with a cool drink and most important our Korean Tacos ^ ^. For the soccer fans, there is a big cinema screen inside. For people with children is a play-ground on the opposite side of the street.
Update: There will be no entrance fee at the door. People can just choose how many tacos they want to eat or when they’ll come to the party or how long they wanna stay without having the burden of paying an all-in small fortune.Therefore the tacos and drinks will be sold separately. The price of a Korean taco will be EUR 3,50 per taco. Drinks can be ordered inside cafe Medina*.
Please only apply your presence by sending us an email to koreantacoparty@gmail.com. EVERY ONE IS INVITED! Signing-up is important for us so we know how many people we might expect that day. We want to make sure that everyone who signs up will enjoy a Korean Taco! Beside the Korean BBQ Taco, we will introduce 1 or 2 new versions. Among of them will be a Korean Tofu Taco!

Our Tofu Taco filling is here!
We are not great food-porn photographers and probably never will be. What we can do is to get you taste the real thing instead of let you drool on a picture. ^ ^
The result of our T3-day: Tofu in soy-lime marinade covered in a light bread crumb crunch with a Japanese black bean topping (kudos to my buddy Tim!). Together with the onion-chilantro relish/Korean red pepper chili sauce/ lettuce and wrapped in a house made Mexican tortilla. Although we did try several other recipes with tofu and fish. We both agreed only to serve food of which we’re 100% satisfied. So the only new menu item for now is the Tofu Taco. As our experiments will be continued we’re proud to serve a great taco to our vegetarian friends at the launch party.
