I have not been to N. Korea, but my FIL has seavrel times now, one of the few Americans who was let in seavrel yrs ago. (Guess it’s easier to get in now though.) This was an interesting post. I didn’t ask my FIL about his thoughts on food there, but now I probably will. -Beast Mom(P.S. I was over at the freelance job boards for About.com and they are looking for a Korean food writer who has expertise/interest in writing regular on-line content for them – for seemingly good pay. I thought of you b/c your blog here is so informative and beautifully put together. If you’re at all on the hunt for a paying Korean food writing gig, you might want to check them out… (Or not.) I’m a huge fan of David Chang of Momofuku, korean barbecue, the new KFC (korean fried chicken) and all thats kogi is definitely the New Black but sad to say these awesome delights in Nederland are truly hard to fine if none existent.

i don’t think TJM could exsist in the US, where I come from. It would be shut down by the health department! Trust is a big part when you are eating outside of your home… and I like you guys because you guys cater and are a real business… I wouldn’t just use TJM to eat from people I’d never had any contact with before.
